Liverpool Champions League Final
Mossley Hill 1-2 Whiston Juniors
Whiston took an early lead through RYAN McCALL
within 5mins of the start of the game, this was quickly doubled a minute or two later thanks to JAMES HULME
strike. This gave the Rainhill champions an unassailable lead, and despite Mossley Hill pressure were just too strong
on the day for the Merseyside&Halewood Champions. Whiston's JOHNNY FOY collected the Player
of the Tournament while ETHAN DWYER was unable to add to his tally of five before the final, received the
Golden Boot. Whiston were actually playing in their 50th final under their manager Mark Burke, so celebrations
were in abundance come the trophy collection time!
